Concern
Two findings – two treatment paths.
The labia majora can be a source of concern in two quite different ways: either there is too much skin or tissue – in which case surgical reduction may make sense – or the tissue has lost volume and padding and appears lax or sunken – in which case hyaluronic acid volume restoration may help.
Important distinction
correcting the labia majora is not the same as correcting the labia minora (labiaplasty). If your concerns relate to the labia minora, a separate labiaplasty assessment applies.
If there is a combination of excess skin and volume loss, priorities are set individually – both procedures are not automatically performed together. Every treatment is based on a specialist examination with an honest assessment of which path fits your findings.

Surgical reduction or hyaluronic acid – the finding decides.
The goal is an anatomically fitting, natural-looking contour – not a standard shape. Neither procedure can guarantee perfect symmetry.

Pre-operative note
Medications & supplements before the procedure
No aspirin, ibuprofen or other blood thinners in the 10 days before treatment. Never stop prescribed blood-thinning medication on your own – any change must always be discussed with the treating physician.
Also stop herbal supplements
vitamin E, fish oil/omega-3, ginkgo, garlic and ginger preparations, ginseng, turmeric and high-dose vitamin C increase bleeding risk. Please disclose all preparations – including over-the-counter and 'harmless' vitamins – fully during the consultation.
Nicotine is the most important avoidable factor for wound-healing problems – smoking (including e-cigarettes and nicotine replacement) narrows skin blood vessels and reduces oxygen supply to tissue. Stopping smoking several weeks before and after the procedure is strongly recommended.
Diet also affects wound healing
a strictly vegan diet (and, to a lesser extent, a purely vegetarian one) often contains too little high-quality protein, iron, zinc, vitamin B12 and vitamin D – important for collagen formation and wound closure. We recommend a protein-rich diet around the procedure and discuss targeted supplementation for a vegan diet.
