Pregnancy & obstetrics
Obstetrics is at the heart of this practice. I accompany you throughout – same faces, from the first confirmation to the weeks after birth.
During pregnancy
Routine checks, ultrasound at the recommended times and laboratory work-up per SGGG.
When it is not straightforward
Pre-existing conditions, blood pressure, gestational diabetes or growth concerns: closer monitoring with a clear plan.
After birth
Check-up, pelvic floor and recovery – including device-assisted training where it makes sense.
Midwife consultation
Birth preparation, questions and postpartum support – in the same practice.
Questions about pregnancy – answered

International online hormone consultation
For international patients outside the Swiss OKP/KVG system: start hormone therapy, review it, or have symptoms assessed by a specialist – worldwide by video, in German or English.
Premium check-up with ultrasound
For patients with supplementary or international insurance (e.g. Cigna, Bupa, Allianz) and for the in-between years when basic insurance does not cover the check-up: Small with gynaecological ultrasound, Large with gynaecological ultrasound plus breast ultrasound.
Intimate surgery
Labiaplasty, revision surgery, perineoplasty and complaints in the anal area – self-pay, with pre-surgical review, my own surgical planning and a fixed follow-up.
Not everything that is possible is useful.

Board-certified FMH specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics with a focus title in surgical gynaecology. More than 4,000 gynaecological operations since 2006, over 600 of them in intimate surgery including vaginoplasty. In my own practice in the Spalenvorstadt since 2016. “One-Cut Technique” is my term for a complex incision approach that requires extensive surgical experience and allows an aesthetically pleasing, even result.
My approach: one consultation, one main concern. A second appointment is better than a half-discussed topic. I explain findings so that you can follow them and decide for yourself.
Art of Gynecology describes how I work: for me, medicine and aesthetics belong together – in the surgical result as much as in the room where you wait. That is why works by a Basel artist hang in the practice.
